The best predictor of student success is the extent to which families encourage learning at home and involve themselves in their child’s education. When parents are engaged in their children’s school lives, students have the home support and knowledge they need to not only finish their assignments, but also develop a lifelong love of learning. The more parents involved in their children’s education, the better behavior and grades become that foster leadership quality in them.
We, at KVV (LKSPS), have developed multiple communication channels to increase the role of parents in their child's education.
Parents are kept in loop with a fully transparent system. We have monthly face-to-face meets to discuss the progress of child. Parents have access to the faculties and the higher authority at any point of time if need arises. We also have a school committee with parents being the members, because they will better understand the need of the children.
We are also developing remote methods of contact as a part of digitizing our school. We invite parents on campus to witness all major extracurricular events year around. This inculcates a sense of belonging in them and also motivates the child to perform better. Together we strive to reach our goal of excellence for all.
